The Supplier Management ICT department of the City of Amsterdam has started the implementation of category management. To this end, an implementation plan has been drawn up and a Category Manager has been started. A category plan for the standard software category is currently being worked on. Category management is still in its infancy in many organizations and is therefore still unknown to many. The project team would like to share knowledge and experience about this with colleagues within the IT Circle.
