Late summer and looking ahead | September 2025
This summer was all about inspiring firsts: the very first Summer School, featuring six sessions packed with knowledge sharing and networking, and the IT Exchange, where professionals spent a day interning at another organization. The I-Opener "Samen Digitaal" also demonstrated how important digital skills are for all of us.
In this newsletter, we'll take you through the highlights of the past few months and look ahead to what's to come. From an interactive Round Table on People Manager challenges to an in-depth IAM session, a meeting on AI in Learning & Development, and of course, the highlight of the fall: the Agile Safari at the Dutch Tax and Customs Administration.

Highlights from recent sessions and developments
- Community Officers Event On September 11th, we kicked off the second half of the year with our Community Officers. Rene Jansen (Winkwaves) inspired us with his talk about the new way of organizing. Cia Brandefors and Nelleke Ernst of NWO, along with their colleagues, surprised us with an interactive workshop on AI for the future.
- Making behavioral change sustainable and anchoring it in your organization Leontine Wendt-Slieker, who works for the Police, took us through a valuable session on strategic change in complex organizations with the aim of optimally safeguarding and anchoring this knowledge.
- IT Circle Event: I-Opener Together Digital Together with our members, we embarked on a journey into the world of digital skills and literacy. During the event, we explored how digitalization is changing the way we think, work, and collaborate. We did this by working together on various issues, resulting in valuable conversations and a path toward a digitally skilled future.
