The session focuses on the use of the European e-Competence Framework (e-CF) as a reference framework for IT competencies within Defence, particularly within the Joint Information Provision Command (JIVC) and the IT Academy. The e-CF is used as a basis for the learning and development of IT staff.
During the meeting, it will be explained how the “My Development Scan” originated and how this scan helps IT employees gain insight into their own competencies and development needs. The scan links the desired e-CF competencies to a personal development curriculum and to the learning offerings of the IT Academy.
