Knowledge management (KM) is a process concerned with the development, storage, retrieval and dissemination of information and expertise within an organization to support and improve its business performance. Organizations realize that knowledge is a critical resource and that knowledge must be managed properly.

Only recently, however, have organizations begun to harness their interest in this aspect in a more systematic and formal way. Knowledge is a fundamental factor whose successful application helps organizations adopt new or changed products and services. But what is the best method and when do we deploy what? Such questions will be addressed during this session. Sterrin Steenks, Information Manager at Parnassia Groep shares her experiences and is also very curious about how this is done at other organizations.
