Functional Management at IVO Judiciary

Greater understanding of the role of functional management in various organizations, now and in the future.

As we learned during the December 2022 master class, the functional manager is an indispensable link in the organization. The Functional Administrator is the link between the users (the consumers of the information in the organization) and the technical side (the IT department within the organization) and makes a crucial contribution to realizing the renewal ambitions of an organization faster and better. The users within an organization do not always know what the IT department within their organization can do to optimize the provision of information within the organization. As a result, the IT department is often faced with unclear or impracticable user requirements.

Encouraged by the enthusiasm of the participants, we are eager to go deeper into the subject matter in 2023 and have been the first to find IVO Rechtspraak willing to give a peek into their kitchen regarding Functional Management. The round table is all about stakeholder management. how do you stand as a Functional Administrator in the competition, how do you deal with customers, colleagues and the development organization, what challenges are there, what is the effect in terms of resources, processes and behavior. IVO Rechtspraak is happy to share its findings and challenges during this interactive session and is also very interested in how other organizations deal with this.
