Simulations, models, working with big data: it all requires enormous computing power: High Performance Computing, in other words. TU Delft put supercomputer DelftBlue into operation in Q2 of this year. This gives Delft its own High Performance Computing system. This supercomputer complements existing national and cloud-based facilities and offers scientists and students more flexibility in conducting their research.

Why did TU Delft set this up? What were the challenges? What was the project journey? Were the goals set achieved? What does TU Delft's solution look like? Kees Vuik, Frans Broos and Robbert Eggermont share all the ins and outs.

Signing up yourself and/or colleagues can be done through your organization's Community Officer.
